SpamFighter Android App
Automatic call screening before your phone rings
The SpamFighter app uses Android CallScreeningService to check incoming calls against the spam database in real-time.
- Screens calls before the first ring (< 1.8 second response)
- Shows caller name, FTC complaints, STIR/SHAKEN status
- One-tap block or answer from the overlay
- No Google services required — no Firebase, no Play Services
- Android 9+ (API 28) required
Installation
- Allow unknown sources — Android Settings → Security → Unknown sources → enable for your browser or file manager
- Download and install — tap the button above, then tap Install when prompted
- Grant screening permission — on first launch, set SpamFighter as the default call screener
- Add your token — open the app, go to Settings, paste your token from the token page
iOS
Use the web lookup tool to check numbers manually. iOS does not support sideloaded call screening apps.
